Jellystone Park™ Quarryville

Quarryville, Pennsylvania

118 RV Sites, 88 Cabins, 7 Tent Sites, 2 Lodges

Southern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, is quintessential Pennsylvania Dutch Country — a landscape of working Amish farms, covered wooden bridges, and roadside stands selling produce, quilts, and shoofly pie from front porches. Jellystone Park™ Quarryville sits on 63 beautifully wooded acres in this setting, sharing a natural boundary with a 100-acre county park that effectively expands the green space available to guests. As a family camping destination, Quarryville's Jellystone combines the national brand's unmatched entertainment programming with a location that places guests inside one of the most culturally distinctive regions in the eastern United States. The resort offers RV sites, tent sites, and a range of cabin accommodations that make it accessible to families across every camping comfort level. A waterfront setting adds a scenic dimension that lifts the property above most campground stays in the region, and the character entertainment featuring Yogi Bear, Cindy Bear, and Boo-Boo is woven through the season's programming rather than limited to special weekends. Water features, a well-equipped playground, themed costume weekends, and the full Jellystone activities menu give children a packed schedule, while the adjacent county park provides hiking and natural space for guests who prefer their outdoor time less structured. The Lancaster County terrain surrounding the resort is what draws travelers to this part of Pennsylvania in the first place — a working agricultural landscape that has remained largely unchanged for generations, where Amish farmers work fields with horse-drawn equipment and clotheslines of plain-colored garments run between farmhouses and barns visible from the road. The bordering county park's hardwood canopy turns brilliantly in October, and the overall quietness of the rural surroundings gives even the resort's busiest summer weekends a character that urban campgrounds simply cannot replicate. The Strasburg Rail Road, about 23 minutes from camp, is the oldest continuously operating short-line railroad in the Western Hemisphere, running steam-powered excursions through the Amish countryside on restored 1800s passenger equipment that delights guests of every age. The Amish Village, about 25 minutes away, offers guided farmhouse tours and narrated backroads bus tours through Lancaster County's back lanes. Lancaster Central Market, the nation's oldest continuously operating publicly owned farmers' market, runs Thursday and Saturday downtown and is a genuine culinary experience worth an early start. Hersheypark and Longwood Gardens are both within comfortable driving distance for families planning a broader Pennsylvania itinerary. Jellystone Park™ Quarryville operates through the camping season from spring to fall, with peak summer weeks, character theme weekends, and the fall harvest-season programming driving the highest demand. Waterfront sites and premium cabin configurations are the first to book, sometimes months in advance for popular midsummer dates. The property's location in Amish Country adds a secondary draw that keeps the resort relevant throughout the shoulder seasons — spring and fall visits combining a morning at the Strasburg Railroad and an afternoon at the Central Market represent some of the best Pennsylvania family travel available at any price point.
