Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Check-in time Campsites: 2:00 pm.
- Check-in time for Cabins and Hotel Rentals: 3:00 pm.
- Check-out time Campsites and Cabins: 12:00 pm.
- There is a $5 per hour early check-in or late check-out fee based on availability.
- All guests must register at the front office.
- As a registered guest (and everyone in your party) you acknowledge the acceptance of these Rules and Policies.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Visitors and Guests
- All visitors staying for a few hours, a day, or overnight must register at the main office upon arrival.
- A daily visitor's fee of $5 will be charged.
- Overnight guests will be charged at $10 per night.
- Daily visitors must not enter the property before and must exit the property by 11:00 am.
- As a registered visitor of Colors of the Forest, you acknowledge the acceptance of these rules and policies.
Campfires & Firewood
- All campers are requested to maintain a suitable campfire level.
- All campfires and embers must be put out at the end of the evening or when leaving your campsite area.
- Firewood may be purchased at the general store or bought locally.
- Buy/burn locally cut firewood
- If you have already brought firewood from another area, burn it.
- Do not leave it.
- Do not take it with you.
- Encourage your friends and neighbors not to move firewood.
Alcohol
- Alcohol is permitted in the campground under the following circumstances, (a) you must be of legal drinking age of the state of PA, (b) you do not walk the campground with open containers, (c) no excessive drinking, rowdiness, loudness, vulgarity, driving under the influence or creating a disturbance.
- Any of these will result in the eviction of the campground without any refund to your site.
Pets
- Pets must be on a leash suitable to control the animal.
- The pet owner is responsible for pet clean-up and pet behavior at all times.
- No Exceptions.
- Aggressive pets are not permitted on our campground.
- If your pet bites another person or another pet, the pet will be ejected from the campground and not permitted to return.
- Absolutely no snake pets allowed.
Property and Trees
- We have 46.9 acres of beautiful land here on the premises.
- The property (and live and dead trees, bushes, shrubs, rocks, stones, cabin-owned structures, ponds, etc.) is the property of the campground and not to you or your specific site.
- Under no circumstances are you permitted to gather these items in order to cut or split them for firewood.
- Firewood is available at the general store for purchase.
Quiet Hours
- Quiet time hours are between 11:00 pm – 8:00 am.
- During these hours, mowing, weed whacking, chainsaws, or any building maintenance is not permitted.
- In addition, all children must be on their campsite and in the company of their parents, guardians, or another responsible adult.
Fireworks and Firearms
- Fireworks, sparklers, and firearms are not permitted on the campground premises at any time (Including the 4th of July weekend).
Bicycles
- Bicycles are permitted on the premises.
- Bike riding after dusk is not permitted.
- Please ensure all bikes are stored back at your campsite.
- Children under 12 are required to wear a helmet.
Speed Limit
- For the safety of you, our children, and pets, please follow the speed limit of 5-8 miles per hour.
- Drive with caution and be alert.
Privacy
- Upon entering our Colors of the Forest RV Resort & Campground, you consent to allowing us to use your voice and name in photos, videos, and any media.
- Consent is free, and at no time will you be compensated for the photo, video, names, etc.
- Do not enter our campground if you do not wish to partake in the above.
Campground Liability
- We are not liable for any theft or vandalism that may occur on the premises.
- Each seasonal camper is responsible for purchasing liability insurance.
Rule Changes
- We have the right to update, add, or alter any rule or policy at any given time.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
