Spicewood RV Resort in Spicewood, Texas, offers a blend of vintage trailer rentals, tiny homes, and traditional RV and tent sites in the Texas Hill Country between Austin and Marble Falls — a resort property in Burnet County's Lake Travis-Lake LBJ corridor that gives guests the Hill Country nature immersion and the Colorado River Highland Lakes recreational access from a varied accommodation menu that serves both the adventure camper with equipment and the traveler seeking the curated overnight character of vintage trailer and tiny home accommodation without the conventional hotel format. Spicewood's position in Burnet County's Hill Country wine and lake district places the resort within the weekend escape range of Austin's leisure market. Vintage trailers, tiny homes, traditional RV hookup sites, and tent camping give Spicewood RV Resort the accommodation breadth to serve guests whose idea of the Hill Country camping experience spans from full self-contained RV travel to the turnkey tiny home night that requires nothing more than a reservation. The vintage trailer format specifically gives the resort the Instagrammable accommodation character that the Texas Hill Country experience-seeking traveler specifically targets, and the property's blend of accommodation types sustains the social gathering energy that mixed-format resorts create when multiple guest groups discover a shared outdoor space. Pets are welcome. Lake Travis, the Highland Lakes chain's largest reservoir at 19,000 acres in Travis and Burnet Counties, provides the primary water recreation destination for the Spicewood corridor — a lake whose 65 miles of length, the Mansfield Dam's 270-foot-tall wall, and the consistently clear Hill Country water quality sustain boating, wakeboarding, swimming, and fishing from marinas concentrated along the lake's northern Burnet County shore near Spicewood. The Lake Travis area's private marina infrastructure and the resort waterfront access give guests the lake recreation access that makes the Spicewood Hill Country position specifically advantageous for water-recreation guests over the landlocked central Hill Country. Pedernales Falls State Park, 25 miles east of Spicewood in Blanco County, preserves the Pedernales River's dramatic limestone waterfall staircase — a geological formation where the river drops over stepped pink granite and white limestone ledges in a cascade that varies seasonally from a roaring spring torrent to the summer's shallow pools perfect for wading in the riverbed's sculpted sandstone channels. The park's swimming hole, tubing, and the Falls overlook trail give the Pedernales Falls experience its characteristic blend of geological drama and accessible river recreation that makes it one of the most visited day-use state parks in the Hill Country. Spicewood RV Resort operates year-round in Burnet County's temperate Hill Country climate, where the spring wildflower season from late March through April — when the bluebonnets and Indian paintbrush blanket the Highway 71 and RR 2147 roadsides through the Spicewood corridor — and the summer lake season from May through August represent the two peak demand windows from the Austin regional market. Marble Falls, 20 miles west in Burnet County, provides the Highland Lakes city's dining, Bluebonnet Cafe breakfast experience, and the granite quarry heritage that gives the Falls on the Colorado River city its Hill Country commercial character. Reserve accommodations months ahead for the spring bluebonnet peak and summer lake weekends.
